DESCRIPTION
Descriptions are from multiple sample locations: Plates up to 2 mm long, 1.5 mm thick Plates up to 4 cm long, 2 mm thick. Plate aggregates up to 5 cm. Hydrate-cemented sediment intervals between 1.2-1.3 and 1.5-1.6 m below seafloor Small plates, some aggregates up to 4 cm in size. Small plates, scaly and isometric inclusions up to 6 cm. Isometric inclusions, 1-2 mm. Flake-like, pillar-like scaly and platy inclusions, subisometric aggregates up to 13 mm. Plates, sometimes lens-like, randomly oriented, often grown together, subisometric inclusions up to 3 cm. Hydrate-cemented sediment intervals between 0.15-1.3 and 1.6-1.7 m. Blade-like elongated inclusions up to 10 mm.
